Ok so maybe the doctor is less of a complete jerk than I initially thought.  I like how your evil kazillionaire used the tech that he bought, that's very clever way of handling it.  Rather than have them pay once for the cure, you get them hooked for life with cut-rate parts.  This makes him not only greedy, but also very cold and calculating.  I'm not sure what this turns 13 into, his murders and other broken crimes are all justified, but he's not doing it for the greater good just revenge.  I suppose he's an anti-hero of sorts?

Also I love the vague reference to the revolution.  Gives the world depth and history without needing tons of exposition.  The imagination quickly fills in enough blanks.  

That panel with their two faces is spectacular.  I love how clearly it contrasts the doc's world weariness against 13's determination.  Awesome visuals as always!
